Permatex No. 1 Ridgit Gasket Sealant
Comes in a 3oz tube.
Fast-drying, hard-setting sealant designed for sealing rigid materials and flanges, or patching holes and joints where permanent assembly is desired.
Perticularly usful for freeze plugs, threaded connections and manifold gaskets. Able to handle up to 400 degrees with no issues.
To use:
--Clean surfaces thoroughly
--Pierce top and apply a thin, even film to both mating surfaces. Allow to air dry until it becomes “tacky"
--Assemble and tighten into position
--Wipe excess clean. If material cures in nozzle between applications, use a pin or paper clip to remove cured plug
