Mechanics Safety Tie Wire Pliers Tool
Heavy duty steel construction with spring return and polished locking jaws.
To use:
After attaching the safety wire, clamp it with the plier jaws of the twisting tool.
Next, lock the jaws in place by sliding the locking sleeve into the notch on the lever.
After that, grip the knob and pull straight back, allowing the tool and wire to twist.
Finally, when the wire is twisted as desired, release the tool and trim the wire.
Used in a number of Willys and Jeeps, particularly at the back of the transfer case.
