This bed extension allows you to add 24" to you bed for more cargo.
To start the install process, remove the tailgate from the Jeep. Then, remove both tailage hinges. Next, install both hinges on the obx extension using the original hardware (hand tighten for now).
Attach the box extension to the original tailgate tabs using the 3/8" x 1" carrage bolts provided. Put the nut on the outside of the box and just hand tighten that for now as well. Do this for the other side too.
Install the lower four 5/16" x 1" bolts provided attaching the box extension to the original hinge holes. Hand tighten for now. You might need a scribe to help align the holes.
Install one end of the lower brace to the box extension using the 3/8" x 1" elevator bolts provided. Hand tighten for now. Install the other end of the brace to the outside hole of the hitch using the 3/8" x 1-1/2" bolt and washer provided.
Install tailgate and tighten all bolts.

The box will clear if you have a Pintle hitch or PTO.
